Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StudioOps (the “Service”), the studio-management software available at studioops.in and its sub-domains. The Service is operated by the owner of studioops.in (“StudioOps”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you create a studio, you are responsible for the users you invite to it.
2. Plans and subscription
New studios start on our Free plan, which has usage limits but no time limit and no card. Paid plans raise those limits. We may change pricing and plan limits from time to time; any change to fees will not affect a billing period you have already paid for. You can stop using the Service at any time.
3. Cancellation, downgrades and refunds
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Settings, or by contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your data stays exactly as it is; nothing is deleted because you cancelled.
Moving to a smaller plan. You can move to a lower-priced plan, and the change takes effect at your next renewal date. We do not downgrade mid-term, because you have already paid for the plan you are on until that date and you keep the use of it.
Refunds. Subscription fees are not refundable, in whole or in part, including for a period you have not finished using, for a plan you moved away from, or for time during which you did not use the Service. Please use the Free plan, which has no time limit, to decide whether the Service suits you before you pay.
Where we will refund. We will refund you if we charged you in error, if we charged you more than once for the same period, if we charged you after you had cancelled, or where a refund is required by law. Tell us within 30 days of the charge and we will return the money to the original payment method, normally within 7 working days once approved.
If we end your account. If we close or suspend your studio for a reason other than a breach of these Terms, we will refund the unused part of your current period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: use it for any unlawful purpose; upload content you do not have the right to use; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other studios’ data; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or resell or provide the Service to third parties except through the normal use of your own studio.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the data and content you enter into the Service (“Your Content”), including client, project, financial, and team information. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content. Each studio’s data is isolated from other studios.
6. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update features, or suspend the Service where necessary. We are not responsible for issues caused by your device, network, or third-party services.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your studio at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete studio data after a reasonable period unless the law requires otherwise.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. StudioOps is a tool to help you organise your studio; it is not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, or tax advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudioOps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
